More from KW:
The KW Clubsport coilovers combine KW’s high-end racing technology with maintenance-free KW OEM quality components. Designed to provide you the ideal product to utilize the full potential of your sports car during autocross, track days, high performance drivers education (HPDE) courses, club racing, and is tested rigorously on race tracks such as the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
As a supporting suspension manufacturer to numerous international racing series, KW has claimed 7 ADAC Zurich 24-hour victories over the years at the famous Nürburgring circuit, and the ADAC GT Masters 2011 Championship. At the start of the 2018 24 Hour race 75 race teams were equipped with KW coilover systems resulting in 16 class victories. These race teams rely on KW’s racing expertise and experience for their vehicle setup. This same championship winning pedigree is mirrored in the development of each one of the KW Clubsport coilover systems.
Similar to the KW Racing suspension used in international motorsports, the KW V4 Clubsport coilover kit allows fine tuning of the compression damping separately in the low-speed and high-speed range.
TVR-A Technology:
The two-stage, patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound – Adjustable) technology enables a small volume of oil to flow through an adjustable, conically shaped, low-speed bypass during low damper speeds, while in the case of higher damper speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens allowing a larger volumn of oil to flow. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the safety-relevant high-speed range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control.
TVCLH-A Technology:
With 6 precise clicks in low-speed and 14 precise clicks in high-speed range of the compression damping, the cross-sections in the KW V4 Clubsport valves are decreased or increased, in order to achieve either more or less compression damping. The TVCLH-A (Twin Valve Compression Low High – Adjustable) technology has an engineered blow-off characteristic providing a large cross-section that allows substantial low-speed forces to provice optimum support of the vehicle body without unsettling the body in the case of sudded high damper stimulation induced by the wheels, like driving over apex curbing. The separate low and high-speed settings are always supplied with an additional rebound setting utilizing TVR-A technology for a truely independent 3-way damper setup.
With KW Clubsport coilovers you can achieve maximum lowering within an approved lowering range that ensures a proper functioning suspension with adequate travel after your car is lowered. Even after years of use you can easily adjust the ride height thanks to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar.
