7045S1 S1 Cams (264/264)
The billet cores for the GSC GTR cams are proprietary and made in house at GSC. Stronger, lighter cams with additional fatigue and wear resistance. CNC machining and grinding for the most accurate and repeatable camshafts possible, with precision gun drilling down the center of the cam for oil delivery and weight reduction. This far exceeds OEM durability with the performance GSC Power-Division is world famous for.
7045S2 S2 Cams (274/274)
Good for mild builds all the way up to 1500+ HP strokers. Required for the 7045S2 cams are the GSC5068 Conical valve springs and lightweight titanium retainers. These will keep the valve train happy up to 9800 RPM at 60psi of boost. GSC specifically designed the valve springs and retainers for the high horsepower VR38DETT and utilize different intake and exhaust retainers to keep proper spring seat pressure.
• Head Clearancing may be necessary for lobes
• Intake: Valve Clearance = 0.30mm±0.025mm
• Exhaust: Valve Clearance = 0.33mm±0.025mm
7045S3 S3 Cams (280/280)
For 1500 + WHP builds only. Required for the 7045S3 are the GSC5068 Beehive valve springs and lightweight titanium retainers, this combination will keep the valve train happy up to 9800 RPM at 60psi of boost. GSC specifically designed the valve springs and retainers for the high horsepower VR38DETT and utilize different intake and exhaust retainers to keep proper spring seat pressure.
