This kit no longer includes the in-line filter. FP has recently made some changes to the 2020+ Evo 9 ball bearing CHRA. They used to REQUIRE the use of the FP restricted inline filter, now the new ball bearing CHRA has a built-in restrictor making it compatible with the OEM Evo 9 lines.
If you have a new, restricted CHRA, then you can use this line as-is without a filter, or you can add the unrestricted FP Red In-Line Oil Filter. If you have the pre-2020 CHRA, then you’ll need the FP Purple In-Line Oil Filter.

What is the difference between the BB CHRA’s?
Well, physically, they will look the same. The new CHRA’s are from 2020+. If you are purchasing a brand new turbo, it will have the new CHRA. If you have purchased a used turbo or just aren’t sure, you can call FP as each turbo will have a serial number on it.
